Nutrition Heroes:

All foods should be local, organic, seasonal, grass-fed, pesticide-, GMO- hormone- and antibiotic-free.

 Fresh vegetables: raw, steamed, baked or sautéed
 Fresh seasonal fruits
 Green and herb teas, fresh juices and homemade broths
 Organic non-gluten grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, buckwheat, amaranth
 Non-GMO corn and organic miso, tofu, edamame, tempeh
 Meat: Free-range turkey, chicken, deep ocean fish, grass fed beef & lamb
 Goat dairy: milk, yogurt, kefir, cheese
 Booster foods: spirulina/chlorella/mixed greens powders, sea vegetables, nuts, seeds (especially pumpkin, chia, flax), nutritional yeast, herbs & spices.
 Filtered or spring water

Nutrition Bandits:

 The Whites: sugar, flour, breads, rice, milk (refined & pasteurized)
 Caffeine & sugars: coffee, soda, sports drinks, alcohol, chocolate
 Gluten grains: wheat, rye, barley, malt, oats (if processed with gluten grains)
 GMO foods: Non-organic Corn & Soy (80-90% of soy is GMO. 60-70% of corn is GMO. 90% canola oil is GMO!!!)
 Meat: Commercial beef, pork, lamb, lunch meats, farmed fish
 Commercial dairy: milk, cheese, butter, eggs, yogurt
 Damaged Fats: Trans fats & overheated fats- hydrogenation of oils, heat, light & air oxidize natural fats, which creates free radicals, damages cell membranes, alters nutrients in & wastes out of cells, slows metabolism and damages the brain.
