Chocolate Crunch Balls

These chocolate crunch balls are easy and energy-boosting for an afternoon snack.
3/4 cup almond butter
3/4 cup cashew butter
3/4 cup buckwheat groats (omit for paleo)
3/4 shredded coconut
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup raw cacao powder

  1. Mix the 2 nut butters together in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  2. Add the cacao powder and incorporate.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
  4. Put the mixture in the fridge for about 15 minutes, so the chocolate will be easier to manipulate.
  5. Roll into balls.
  6. Chill in the fridge or freezer until firm.

Notes and Tips:

The nut butters are interchangeable, however, the taste will vary.

For a paleo version, omit the buckwheat groats.

For a nut-free version, use pumpkin butter.
